This course deeply explores how artificial intelligence can be strategically leveraged to tackle urgent global challenges, from improving public health and addressing climate change to advancing equitable education and protecting human rights. Students will engage in designing, implementing, and rigorously evaluating AI solutions that prioritize tangible social impact, while meticulously navigating complex ethical considerations such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, and ensuring equitable access for vulnerable communities
