This advanced course explores the rapidly expanding
field of deploying artificial intelligence directly onto
edge devices and integrating it within vast Internet of
Things (IoT) ecosystems. It addresses the critical
challenges of running sophisticated AI workloads on
resource-constrained hardware—such as
microcontrollers, single-board computers, and
specialized sensors—where power, memory, and
computational capabilities are inherently limited.
Students will develop specialized expertise to design,
optimize, and implement efficient, real-time AI solutions
